Furball is Baton Rouge’s Premier Dog-Friendly Gala benefitting Companion Animal Alliance, the nonprofit, open-intake animal shelter in East Baton Rouge Parish. Furball is an unforgettable evening that blends a black-tie gala with a dog-friendly celebration, all in support of the lifesaving work of CAA. The evening kicks off with drinks, light bites, and plenty of socializing. The event features both live and silent auctions, offering exciting opportunities to bid on unique experiences and packages, all in support of a meaningful cause. The highlight of the night is the court presentation, where Furball Court Members & Their Dogs are recognized for their fundraising efforts and dedication to the mission. At its core, Furball is a fundraiser, with proceeds directly benefiting the lifesaving work of CAA, providing care, medical treatment, and second chances for animals in need. Throughout the evening, guests are encouraged to give generously, knowing their support makes a tangible and lasting impact.
Since the first Furball in 2013, more than $2.5 million has been raised to further CAA’s life-saving efforts for the animals in our community. All proceeds from Furball go directly to CAA to support their life saving efforts to make Baton Rouge a better place for people and pets, together.
